I know I have been lazy to continue blogging about my korea trip. But, I will continue, won't live it hanging halfway. :) So here goes. DAY 3 KOREA :D  Abalone porridge for breakfast! Nice!!Took another domestic flight to Daegu? can't really remember. haha. Left Jeju island after 2 days :( sad! coz I love that place the most!  Lunch was next after taking about 50 mins flight.Then we made our way for a temple visit. Look at the picture of the stones below. Stacked up so neatly. That is how people made wishes. Cool!  Next was spa valley! The activity that sein yan and I gave a miss. coz.... we all had to strip naked!! and there will not be any towel for us to cover.. so... we didnt go.. haha most of the people didnt go in as well. So we explored the place for 1 hour while waiting for the rest. Of course we started camwhoring hahaha :)   Shopping next!! forgot the name of the place again -.- Then we start to hear thunder and soon it started pouring super heavily!!! and we were all kind of drenched coz 2 of us had to share an umbrella. Our shoes and socks were all so wet that we had to use a hairdryer to dry them when we reached our hotel room!  Dinner was kao rou! Yumsss!! I'm feeling so hungry now when I'm blogging. It's kind of weird, when I was in Korea I didn't dared to eat meat coz we ate meat for a lot of days. But now, I feel like eating it again!And.. after dinner we were done for the day! Headed to our hotel (The Grand). We were kind of tired when we reached our room so we didn't join the guys to explore the place. Instead of sleeping since we claim that we were tired, we lay on the bed after bathing, watched tv and munch on chips on the bed!! Life's good!!! I can never ever do that at home! heh. DAY 4 KOREA! Finally, western breakfast buffet in the hotel. I've always like having breakfast in the hotel. We were so appy when we heard that. haha no more Korean food (for breakfast). haha. Look at the picture! The food looks very appealing right!   First activity of the day was to make our own soap and shampoo! The place was on the hilltop if I am not wrong and we were freezing! haha. Tomato farm was next! We got to pluck our own tomatoes but I gave mine to sein yan coz I don't like tomatoes! haha. If we came earlier, during April, we could have plucked strawberries instead! so sad!! :( the strawberry season just ended when we went to korea. Went to xiang xia after tomato farm. We each got a turn at hitting the rice cake using the hammer like thing. It was kind of heavy! The final product was a muah chee look-alike. But to be honest, our pasamalam muah chee is much nicer. =p Lunch was organic vege meal! Although the meal was mostly made up of vege, it still tastes great nonetheless!Mungyeong old Buljeyong station follwined after that and 2 people took a rail bike. The scenery while we were 'cycling' the rail bike was awesome! And it was super windy too! super like!!!   Coal museum was our last stop before we had dinner. I had the earliest dinner in my life on this day! It was only 3 plus pm when we had our dinnerrrr~~~ We were all shocked when the tour guide told us we will be having dinner at that time. So, all of us just ate for the sake of eating haha. This was my early dinner!Our lodging for the night was at O2 resort. It's a chalet so we had 2 rooms, a living room and a kitchen all to ourself! Shiok! Since we had such an early dinner, we went to the super mart to get some food to munch on! ;)  Look at the bed in the room, it looks comfy right? but I think we became a bit siao and went to pull out the mattresses, pillows and blankets form another room and laid it in front of the tv in the living room and slept there! In the end we fell asleep while watching tv and the tv was on the whole night until the next morning! This is where we slept. haha on the mattress instead of on the comfy bed! hhahaha. That's the end of day 4 :)Oh man! the more I blog about Korea, the more I miss the place! :( |

I'm back from Korea trip! (29/05/2011- 05/06/2011) So reluctant to come back! :( I miss everything over there! The food, the weather, tour group memebers and my travel buddies! This post will be on DAY 1 in KOREA :) Reached Changi airport at about 10pm on 29 May 2011 to check in our luggage. Flight to Korea was at 1am. Took ASIANA airline, OZ735. After 6 hours of flight, we reached Incheon International airport at about 8.15am. There, we met our tour guide and headed to Seoul.  Incheon International Airport Had ginseng chicken for lunch. It was super yummy!! Next stop, we went over to Myung Dong for some shopping. The shoes there are all so pretty but was kind of expensive so in the end I didnt get any. After shopping, took the domestic flight, Jeju air and flew over to Jeju island. The flight was about 1 hour only. Out of all the places I went, I love Jeju island the most! Tadah~ this is our dinner. Seafood steamboat! Look at the abalone!! yummy!! I'm drooling now!! After dinner we headed back to Lotte Hotel since we were all very tired from the flight. The room is super big! The toilet has a bathtub and a shower place as well. Love staying there!There was not much activities in day 1 as we were all too tired from the flight. More activities coming up on the 2nd day! :) |
